Switching from DoorLoop
Moving your properties, tenants, and leases from DoorLoop to ScoutzOS takes about 15 minutes. You have two options: connect directly with your API key, or export CSV files and upload them.
Option A: Direct Connect (Recommended)
ScoutzOS can connect to DoorLoop and pull your data automatically.
- During ScoutzOS onboarding, select Connect Your Software
- Choose DoorLoop from the list
- To find your API key: log into DoorLoop, go to Settings (gear icon, bottom left), then click API under the Developer section
- Click Generate API Key or copy your existing key
- Paste it into ScoutzOS and click Connect and Import
- ScoutzOS pulls your properties, units, tenants, and leases automatically
- Review the import summary and confirm
Your DoorLoop account is untouched. You can run both systems side by side until you are ready to switch fully.
Option B: CSV Export and Upload
If you prefer not to connect your API key, you can export CSV files from DoorLoop and upload them manually.
Exporting from DoorLoop:
- Log into DoorLoop
- Go to Properties and click Export (top right). Choose CSV.
- Repeat for Units, Tenants, Leases, and optionally Transactions and Work Orders
- Save all files to your computer
Uploading to ScoutzOS:
- During onboarding, select Upload CSV/Excel
- Choose the data type (properties, tenants, or leases)
- Drag and drop your DoorLoop export file
- ScoutzOS auto-detects DoorLoop column names and maps them to the right fields
- Review the preview, fix any mismatches, and click Import
Import properties first, then tenants, then leases.
