Work order lifecycle
Every maintenance request in ScoutzOS follows a clear lifecycle so nothing falls through the cracks.
Stages
- Submitted — tenant creates the request via their portal, phone, or text
- Triaged — you review priority and category
- Assigned — you assign it to a team member or vendor
- In Progress — the assignee is working on it
- Completed — work is done, photos uploaded
- Closed — tenant confirms resolution
Notifications
At each stage transition, both you and the tenant receive updates via email and in-app notifications. This reduces "what's the status?" follow-ups.
SLA tracking
ScoutzOS tracks time-to-first-response and time-to-resolution for every request. View these metrics in your Maintenance analytics dashboard.
