Handling emergency maintenance

Emergencies like burst pipes, gas leaks, or heating failures require immediate action. ScoutzOS helps you respond faster.

Emergency classification

When tenants submit a request and select "Emergency" priority, ScoutzOS:

  • Sends you an immediate push notification and SMS
  • Places the request at the top of your queue with a red alert badge
  • Optionally auto-assigns to your designated emergency vendor

Setting up emergency protocols

  • Who receives emergency alerts (you, your team, or a specific vendor)
  • Auto-assignment rules for after-hours emergencies
  • Tenant-facing emergency instructions
  1. Go to Settings > Maintenance
  2. Under "Emergency Protocol," configure:

After-hours handling

If you use the AI Phone System, emergency calls are automatically flagged and escalated according to your protocol — even at 2 AM.
