The ScoutzOS AI Phone System answers calls on your behalf, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What it does

  • Answers tenant calls and responds to common questions (rent balance, lease dates, office hours)
  • Logs maintenance requests from phone calls directly into ScoutzOS
  • Handles prospective tenant inquiries and schedules showings
  • Escalates emergencies to you immediately
  • Speaks naturally — callers often don't realize it's AI

Setup

During onboarding, ScoutzOS provisions a local phone number for your AI agent. You can forward your existing number to it or use the new number directly.

Customization

Configure your AI agent's personality, knowledge base, and escalation rules in Settings > AI Phone. You can set:

  • Business name and hours
  • Which questions it can answer vs. escalate
  • Emergency keywords that trigger immediate alerts
  • Voicemail behavior

Call logs

Every call is logged with a transcript, duration, and any actions taken. Review calls in the AI Phone section of your dashboard.
