Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Privacy Notice

This notice is provided pursuant to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA") and its implementing regulations. It describes how ScoutzOS, Inc. ("ScoutzOS," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your nonpublic personal information ("NPI").

  • Information you provide to us: Such as your name, address, Social Security number, income, assets, employment information, and other financial data you submit through applications, forms, or other communications.

2.1 Affiliates

2.2 Nonaffiliated Third Parties

We may share your information with nonaffiliated third parties:

  • As permitted by law: To service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as data processing, payment processing, credit reporting, and customer service), to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, to government entities in response to legal process, and as otherwise permitted by law.
  • With your consent: To lenders, investors, or other financial service providers you choose to work with through our platform.

We may disclose your information to companies that provide services on our behalf, including:

  • Payment processors and financial institutions
  • Credit bureaus and background check providers
  • Cloud storage and data hosting providers
  • Analytics and business intelligence providers
  • Customer support service providers

These service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.

3. Information We Do Not Share

We do not sell your nonpublic personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your nonpublic personal information, including:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Access Controls: We restrict access to your information to employees and service providers who need it to perform their job functions.
  • Physical Security: Our data centers employ physical security measures including access controls, surveillance, and environmental protections.
  • Security Assessments: We conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

7.1 California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Please see our Privacy Policy for more information about your California privacy rights.

7.2 Vermont Residents

In accordance with Vermont law, we will not share nonpublic personal information about Vermont residents with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law, unless you authorize us to make such disclosures.

7.3 Nevada Residents
